About the Role
Provide technical and architectural leadership within a portfolio of products, program and agile teams. Lead the analysis, design, and delivery of solutions/applications, ensuring adherence to design parameters and methodologies. Offer expert opinion and solutions to technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for agile teams, defining software architectural approach and high-level design.
- Validate project requirements and design solutions that promote enterprise services and eliminate redundancy.
- Develop and implement future state architectures, technology product roadmaps, standards, and frameworks for Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Establish practices and tools for managing security, performance, and policies across the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure portfolio goals are met and include strategic architecture items.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to educate and reach consensus.
- Develop innovative viewpoints to guide strategic enterprise decisions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation regarding software architectural standards, best practices, and component implementation.
- Evaluate and manage external services to reduce redundant partnerships and maintain oversight of third-party dependencies.
- Ensure interoperability, performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and availability of architectural work.
- Mentor and train less senior architects and Tech Leads.
- Apply new technologies in condensed timeframes to advance business objectives.
- Monitor industry and technology trends to select and implement new tools and strategies.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, concepts, and common architecture patterns, particularly with Salesforce and Hubspot.
- Development or hands-on technical background in Salesforce and/or Hubspot is preferred.
- Experience with loosely coupled architectures or service oriented architectures.
- Extensive experience with Object Oriented Modeling and Design is preferred.
- Full lifecycle experience designing mission critical, large scale, highly available, scalable software applications.
- Experience in designing, building, and deploying highly scalable web and/or mobile based enterprise applications.
- Experience in transforming an On-premises SAAS application into Cloud.
