About the Role
The Patient Care Technician Trainee (PCT Trainee) will be in training to learn how to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The PCT Trainee will learn how to perform the hemodialysis treatment according to Satellite and the local center's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to patients in a safe and professional environment.
- Perform hemodialysis treatment according to Satellite and local center policies and procedures.
- Take and monitor patient vital signs.
- Perform blood tests.
- Document appropriate patient information.
- Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment.
- Clean equipment.
- Deliver care that is unsurpassed by others in the industry.
- Enable patients to live a better life and address their needs holistically.

Requirements
- One (1) year of medical experience preferred.
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
- BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.
- CDPH CHT certification (for CA locations only) is required within 18 months from the hire date.
