About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and scheduling patients
  • Collecting co-payments
  • Presenting treatment plans
  • Working to ensure schedules meet production goals
  • Developing reports on production goals
  • Serving as an advocate and educator in creating treatment plans for dental care
  • Answering incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette and responding to telephone inquiries from potential patients
  • Assisting the patient in prioritizing treatment and establishing a plan for scheduling and payment for dental services
  • Case presentation and acceptance including chair-side treatment planning
  • Conducting treatment plan consultations with new and existing patients to address concerns and answer questions regarding dental treatment plans
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming new patient appointments, promoting flexibility and care regarding appointment opportunities and working to maintain full schedules and office schedule flow

Requirements

  • 3+ years dental experience
  • Open Dental experience is required
  • Excel in multi-tasking and time management
  • Must possess outgoing, friendly, and professional personality with excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Experience in dental or medical field with scheduling and verifying insurance required
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products, dental software, and ability to learn new programs
  • Experience presenting large Treatment Plans over $10,000

Salary/Compensations

  • $27.00-29.00 per hour
