About the Role
As a Yield Analysis Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you will own key high-volume products across all tech nodes. You will collaborate with customer and internal teams to monitor the health of the line and trace yield deviations to closure, helping to drive defense lines to ensure traced yield deviations do not recur.
Responsibilities
- Drive yield event closure and defense line effectiveness from detection source to closure.
- Prepare customer material sets, align cross-functionally on messaging, and actively participate in customer meetings.
- Perform daily wafer testing (EDS) map review and yield summary.
- Conduct analytical deep dives to identify root causes for bin and zonal shifts.
- Analyze dog tools and integrated issues resulting from multiple change points to identify sources of yield degradation or opportunity.
- Perform all change point analyses for spec release for both EDS and FT yield.
- Provide specific bin/zonal issues with failing change point proposals during change point analyses.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
- A minimum of four years of experience as a Device and/or Process Engineer.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes, coding, process integration, and device physics is required.
