About the Role
Drives the buildout of strategic analytics platforms in partnership with Trading, Structuring, Technology, and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining sophisticated quantitative libraries and applications.
- Utilizing financial data portals including Bloomberg to collect relevant financial data for presentations and to support the development of financial models.
- Performing stress-testing and scenario analysis to evaluate portfolio vulnerability.
- Building interest rate curves and interpolation models using Python and MATLAB.
- Developing and maintaining quantitative libraries for product pricing and risk evaluation.
- Analyzing Fixed Income products, including evaluating bond, SOFR, and LIBOR dynamics.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Financial Engineering or a related field or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining sophisticated quantitative libraries and applications on behalf of an international financial services institution.
- Experience using programming languages including Python.
- Experience supporting functions including pricing, risk calculation, and regulatory reporting.
- Experience utilizing financial data portals including Bloomberg.
- Experience performing stress-testing and scenario analysis.
- Experience building interest rate curves and interpolation models using Python and MATLAB.
- Experience developing and maintaining quantitative libraries for product pricing and risk evaluation.
- Experience analyzing Fixed Income products, including evaluating bond, SOFR, and LIBOR dynamics.
