About the Role

The Public Relations Specialist will support Arrive’s public relations and communications efforts, working closely with the VP of Marketing and the Senior Events & Engagement Manager. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage diverse tasks, from drafting media pitches to preparing event materials.

Responsibilities

Support media outreach and maintain relationships with reporters.
Monitor media opportunity platforms like HARO and Qwoted.
Draft pitches and press materials.
Coordinate and draft company announcements for new offices, partnerships, and service expansions.
Build and maintain the PR calendar, media lists, and coverage trackers.
Gather and organize story material from across the business, including market data, content pieces, and employee stories.
Assist subject matter experts in preparing for media appearances, podcasts, and industry features.
Support communications for customer and executive events, including invitations, attendee communications, and briefing documents.
Track media placements, coverage, and event communications activity, preparing summary reports.
Provide communications, writing, and operational support to the marketing team.
Assist with additional project needs as they arise.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, preferred.
3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, including internships.
Strong writing ability across various formats.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative approach and ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to adopt new tools quickly, including AI platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
