About the Role
Pigment is seeking a Supply Chain Solutions Consultant to partner with clients and present the company's thought leadership in Supply Chain Planning. This role acts as a trusted advisor, bridging operational supply chain expertise with the capabilities of a modern planning platform.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand supply chain planning challenges and help prospects articulate their goals and future vision.
- Build strong relationships with operations, supply chain, and finance stakeholders.
- Challenge the status quo of legacy supply chain planning tools and demonstrate Pigment's integrated, agile planning approach.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations covering demand planning, supply planning, scenario modeling, and cross-functional alignment.
- Facilitate discovery and visioning workshops to co-design future planning processes.
- Present proposed solutions to executive audiences.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to relay market needs and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Improve the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven pre-sales experience (Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or similar) on enterprise planning tools with a supply chain dimension.
- Strong supply chain domain knowledge, including S&OP/IBP, demand planning, inventory optimization, production planning, or supply network planning.
- Background and/or degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to translate complex supply chain planning challenges into clear, differentiated product demonstrations for operational and executive audiences.
- Comfortable engaging with various stakeholders, from Supply Chain Planners to C-level executives.
- Experience in CPG, Retail, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing verticals.
- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
