About the Role
As a Pot Washer at dnata Catering, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently clean and sanitize pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils used in meal preparation. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Follow established rules of entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in approved, proper storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
- Sweep, mop, and deck brush floors.
- Clean garbage cans weekly with soap and water.
- Sort and remove trash and place it in the dumpster at the end of every shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.
Requirements
- Must meet all applicable state and local food handler certification requirements for the work location (Texas requires a Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire).
- Excellent attention to detail and self-organized.
- Ability to deal with heavy workload.
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout their employment without current or future sponsorship from dnata Catering USA.
