About the Role
LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is seeking a professional to join their team, focusing on providing a transparent and client-centric wealth management service. This role is crucial in supporting client account management, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and facilitating smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Collate and distribute account opening packs, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Provide clients with regular and ad-hoc information, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely dispatch of documents and reports.
- Monitor the progress and timeliness of account opening and asset/cash transfers to meet client service standards.
- Keep relevant internal and external parties informed of progress.
- Assist in resolving client queries regarding portfolios or account opening.
- Process client payments.
- Prepare accurate and up-to-date meeting packs for clients.
- Prepare Investment Policy Statements, accurately recording client objectives, risk profiles, and financial situations, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure correspondence and reporting are clear, not misleading, technically accurate, and tailored to the client's knowledge level.
- Liaise with external custodians and providers to obtain client information.
- Carry out ad-hoc administration tasks for the team.
- Proficiently use all internal and external systems and information feeds.
- Support Trainee Investment Managers with presentations, reports, and analysis.
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Understanding of front office systems is desirable.
- Understanding of intermediary and cross-border relationships and account opening would be beneficial.
- Willingness to work towards professional qualifications.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional conduct at all times.
- Adherence to LGT's procedures, authorization levels, and compliance requirements.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to double-checking work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong numeracy skills.

- Prompt, professional, and effective handling of all matters without prompting.
- Readily assist the team in achieving its objectives.

- Knowledge of private equity investments is beneficial.
