About the Role
As a (Senior) Consultant for Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will take on the technical leadership of implementation projects, guiding the entire process from discovery workshops and solution blueprints to configuration, testing, and post-go-live support. You will collaborate closely with clients and the delivery team to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead Business Central implementation projects technically and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Gather requirements, provide process consulting, and translate them into a clear solution blueprint (end-to-end design).
- Manage implementation tasks including configuration, data migration, quality assurance, testing (including UAT), and enablement/training.
- Oversee integrations, ISV apps, and customer-specific extensions in collaboration with development teams and solution architects.
- Plan and manage go-live and cut-over phases, handle hypercare, and ensure a smooth transition to support.
- Control scope, timeline, and effort estimation, provide technical leadership to the project team, ensure deliverable quality, and contribute to practice development.
Requirements
- Completed studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Consultant for Business Central.
- Proficient knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central/Dynamics NAV (including Finance, Purchasing/Sales, Warehouse) and ideally also in project management, manufacturing, or service management.
- Familiarity with common BC add-ons (e.g., Continia, Tasklet) and integrations around M365/Power Platform.
- Ability to communicate complex content clearly and persuasively.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to advise clients on-site.
- Very good German and English language skills.
