About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our busy team at our Volvo Truck and Bus Centre in Hayes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial vehicle, automotive, or truck parts who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supply parts and components promptly to workshop technicians.
- Identify and source correct parts using electronic catalogues and manufacturer systems.
- Assist with urgent workshop requirements to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
- Serve retail and trade customers professionally and efficiently.
- Provide product advice and technical parts information.
- Handle incoming customer calls regarding parts availability, pricing, and orders.
- Maintain accurate stock records and support stock control activities.
- Participate in stock counts and inventory audits.
Requirements
- Experience as a Parts Advisor or Parts Assistant (automotive, truck, or bus industry preferred)
- Hold a full driving licence
- Confident communicator with great organisational and IT skills
- A proactive team player who takes pride in delivering quality service
- Knowledge of Volvo systems or commercial vehicle parts is an advantage
