About the Role
Newpark Childcare is seeking a Qualified Nursery Nurse to support their Montessori approach by creating a calm, nurturing, and child-led environment. The role focuses on fostering independence, confidence, and a love of learning in children under three.
Responsibilities
- Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children under 3.
- Encourage independence, choice, and hands-on learning.
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
- Support children in developing confidence, concentration, and self-help skills.
- Help maintain a beautifully prepared Montessori environment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding care and education.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, nursery policies, and high standards of practice.
- Promote diversity, equality, and inclusion.
Requirements
- A full and relevant Early Years Qualification is essential.
- Experience working with children under 5 is essential.
- A genuine interest in Montessori education is desirable.
- A flexible, positive, and collaborative approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English is essential.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and protecting children.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to complete a DBS check and provide references.
