About the Role
Lead a high-impact team responsible for delivering insights that influence decisions at the highest levels, including the CEO, CFO, CPO, and CDO. This role drives strategy, contributes to growth, and makes a measurable impact on the business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee critical actuarial and financial analyses that guide pricing strategy, including rate setting and optimizing new business value.
- Lead the team in setting crediting rates and conducting new business profitability analyses.
- Enhance and streamline related processes.
- Deliver financial and competitive insights to support product strategy and innovation.
- Prepare and present findings to senior leadership, influencing strategic direction.
- Support forecasting of New Business Value.
- Ensure strong governance, accuracy, and analytical rigor across pricing initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years in actuarial roles within life insurance, with strong pricing and new business valuation expertise.
- Proficiency with actuarial software (GGY AXIS preferred).
- Strong understanding of NBV reporting, IFRS17, ESR frameworks, and product mechanics.
Skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and numerical capability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently lead pricing initiatives and validate complex cashflows.
- Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
