About the Role

The Field Marketing Manager will own Technosylva's presence at utility- and forestry-focused trade shows and conferences, managing everything from strategy to execution. This role requires strategic marketing judgment, operational rigor, strong communication, and a data-driven approach to ensure successful event participation and lead generation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all event logistics end to end, including booth space selection and payment, contract review, and providing brand assets.
  • Identify and coordinate with speakers, secure electricity and utilities, and manage shipping of materials.
  • Select and confirm appropriate staff for each event.
  • Ensure appropriate collateral and promotional materials are provided for each event.
  • Secure venues for customer and prospect dinners and manage or coordinate their execution.
  • Establish and maintain lead capture workflows and post-event follow-up processes.
  • Manage logistics for new webinar programs, including software platform and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Convene prep meetings, secure participants, send notes, and manage follow-ups for webinar programs.
  • Ensure recognition and tracking of all webinar attendees in HubSpot.
  • Manage follow-up with webinar attendees and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate proactively with internal partners about event participation, timelines, and expectations.
  • Ensure all internal sources and systems are updated with correct event information.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Legal.
  • Travel to selected events to manage booth setup, staffing, and overall event participation.
  • Support on-site adoption of badge-scanning and conversation-capture processes.
  • Manage customer and prospect dinners on-site or coordinate their execution.
  • Coordinate return shipping of materials.
  • Configure event-specific lead forms, qualification questions, resources, and capture groups.
  • Coordinate the timely transfer of attendee, lead, and interaction data into HubSpot.
  • Flag and resolve incomplete records, synchronization problems, and unassigned follow-up actions.
  • Define KPIs and track performance for each event in partnership with the Marketing team.
  • Own feedback loops for program improvement, including stakeholder goals, debriefs, and retrospectives.
  • Prepare post-event reports and recommendations.
  • Collect final invoices and reconcile actual costs against approved event budgets.
  • Archive assets for easy access for future use.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or trade show/conference management experience.
  • Experience coordinating hospitality events.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and vendors.
  • Familiarity with and experience leveraging AI technologies in workflows.
  • Willingness to learn a new industry and work with a fast-moving team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including concise reporting.
  • Comfort defining and reporting on programs.
  • Experience with lead-capture tools (badge scanning, event lead-capture apps) and marketing/CRM platforms.
  • Ability to be on-site for booth setup and teardown, which may involve standing for extended periods and lifting or moving event materials (typically up to ~25 lbs).
  • Reliable remote work environment for planning, coordination, and reporting between events.
