About the Role
The Burger's Priest is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its Toronto location, offering a positive and self-expressive work environment focused on serious burgers and excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Train and coach the team to provide "ABSOLUTE" service.
- Set clear expectations and follow up with the team regularly.
- Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team.
- Open and close the restaurant independently as a key holder.
- Reconcile cash deposits.
- Place orders and perform inventory counts.
- Address customer concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Attract, interview, and hire employees to build a strong team.
- Understand food costing.
- Accurately schedule employees while achieving labor targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience leading a team.
- Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Passionate about food and providing excellent guest experiences.
- Food Handler Certified or willing to certify.
- Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail.
