About the Role
As EMEA Strategy and Operations lead, you will develop country and regional strategies, identify the most important market opportunities and barriers, align cross-functional teams around a focused set of priorities, and personally drive initiatives through to measurable outcomes. This is an individual-contributor role with a primary focus on Consumer, offering opportunities for adjacent impact across B2B. You will concentrate on a few priority markets while developing scalable approaches for EMEA. This role requires combining rigorous analysis and market judgment with urgency, hands-on execution, and the ability to influence without formal authority.
Responsibilities
- Develop country and regional strategies, including plans, priorities, and forecasts for key European markets, translating company strategy into practical local action.
- Drive growth and conversion through data, customer insight, and experimentation to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, conversion, and monetization.
- Lead market expansion and localization by identifying opportunities, building scalable launch frameworks, and determining necessary product and go-to-market adaptations.
- Translate strategy into execution by personally driving initiatives from diagnosis and prioritization through delivery, measurement, and iteration.
- Lead cross-functional teams, aligning Product, Growth, Marketing, Brand, Partnerships, Finance, Research, Operations, and Compliance around shared outcomes.
- Represent regional insights to ensure European market and customer perspectives shape global roadmaps and decisions.
- Measure and scale impact by defining success metrics and determining when successful local approaches should be replicated.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in growth, strategy, business operations, or quantitative analytics with significant outcome responsibility.
- Proven experience developing country, regional, or multi-market strategies and translating them into focused execution plans.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including forecasting, financial modeling, and growth metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to personally take initiatives from insight through launch and measurement.
- Understanding of European markets with a regional and scalable perspective.
- Clear communication with senior stakeholders and ability to influence teams without formal authority.
- High ownership and urgency in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments.
- Deep interest in AI and alignment with OpenAI’s mission.
