About the Role

The Services Architect, Asset Solutions is responsible for providing customers with the best recommendations and proposals to implement Accruent’s Asset Solutions software. This customer-facing role requires deep functional and technical knowledge of Accruent’s Asset Solutions suite, expertise in implementation methodology, and a strong understanding of customer needs within assigned product lines. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive sales to completion and align stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an active listener, understanding needs and translating them into solutions.
  • Be comfortable with the Accruent Asset Solutions software suite and its interdependencies.
  • Build cross-departmental relationships to stay informed on current and new solutions.
  • Prioritize the right solution over the quickest solution.
  • Maintain a growth mindset and curiosity.
  • Enjoy learning new things and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Write clear proposals and contractual documents outlining goals, deliverables, and level of effort.
  • Partner with Commercial Sales to expedite solution sales while maintaining delivery integrity.
  • Partner with Professional Services Delivery leaders to design and refine implementation and expansion offerings.
  • Manage, interpret, and document customer requirements as Statements of Work and proposals.
  • Participate in the review of discovery information, RFPs, and Implementation Planning Meetings.
  • Present Services philosophy, methodology, and best practices to new customers during the pre-sales phase.
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects and customers by understanding their needs and business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, conveying delivery details and identifying strategic opportunities.
  • Continually refine processes for optimal internal and external stakeholder experience.
  • Travel up to 25% to visit customers and partners and participate in tradeshows/conferences.
  • Recommend PS and software product additions and enhancements based on customer feedback and competitive analysis.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience with implementing software technology.
  • Minimum of 4 years working with customers in a project management, program management, or professional services capacity.
  • Strong operational management, project management, and communication/presentation skills.
  • Experience with implementing large-scale software solutions, including all phases of a client software implementation lifecycle.
  • Ability to translate customer business requirements into business solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills to lead collaboration across functions.
  • A passion for winning deals and expediting the sales process.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of one Asset Solutions product line and ability to learn a second.
  • Advanced knowledge of the value of all PS offerings: Implementation, Managed Services, expansions, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of Certinia (formerly Financial Force).
