About the Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for transforming our AI vision into a physical reality, managing a project's financial performance, technical scope, regulatory compliance, and risk profile from initiation through to full autonomous operation. You will bridge the gap between mechanical/electrical engineering and generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle, including P&L, margin, and revenue realization.
- Define the Work Breakdown Structure for complex building automation and legacy-system integration projects.
- Manage delivery across multiple concurrent sites.
- Oversee installation of IoT devices, gateways, and BMS integrations.
- Coordinate MEP reviews to identify infrastructure limitations before deployment.
- Manage the transition from supervised AI operation to reliable autonomy.
- Work with AgentOps engineers on telemetry, monitoring, and escalation design.
- Identify and mitigate cyber-physical risk.
- Manage project change requests against budget, timeline, and compliance.
- Ensure delivery meets UK regulatory requirements (BREEAM, Building Safety Act 2022, ISO 19650, UK GDPR).
- Coordinate Solution Architects, Delivery Engineers, and AI/ML teams.
- Train the trainer: create and deliver training programs.
- Act as primary client contact through UAT and handover into autonomous operation.
- Mentor Project Managers and Associate PMs across the Global Delivery team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Building Management Systems, MEP, or construction/technology delivery.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Proven ownership of project P&L, including costing, risk, and profit-and-loss accountability.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to stay decisive under high-pressure, on-site conditions.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Right to work in the UK.
Skills
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience (PMI-ACP or CSM)
- Technical literacy in structured digital building models, BIM, ISO 19650
- Smart building protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX)
- Converged IT/OT security
- Data-privacy frameworks (UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018)
- UK building or construction sector experience
- Chartered status or membership of a relevant professional body (CIBSE, IET, RICS or APM)
