About the Role
The FP&A Manager will join a global Corporate Finance team in our London office, supporting all Kobalt business units in planning and budgeting. This role focuses on driving the business through regular forecasting and analysis, with an emphasis on revenue and margin. You will develop financing models, provide insights into revenue performance, and conduct ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of regular weekly/monthly/quarterly internal management reporting and external investor deliverables.
- Maintain revenue and margin models with a focus on Kobalt artist deals (acquired & administered) across actual, budget, and forecast figures.
- Ensure forecasts (covering P&L, cash flow, and KPIs) are updated on time, communicating performance as appropriate with stakeholders in the business and across the finance function.
- Continuously improve and integrate data across multiple systems and departments (using SQL) to increase reliability, accuracy, and usefulness of reporting.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis supporting strategic and operational decision making.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with experience of independently managing forecasts and budgeting processes.
- Experience owning complex models.
- Experience working in an FP&A, budgeting and/or forecasting role.
- Experience preparing deliverables, asking questions, proposing solutions, and presenting to senior management.
- Advanced level of Excel and SQL expertise.
- Experience manipulating large volume complex datasets/databases that leverage multiple systems and tools.
- Interest in automation, process optimisation, and using tech tools to improve workflows.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to efficiently manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for working in music.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
- A full DBS check will be conducted on acceptance of the offer.
