About the Role
Join L&G Asset Management's Asset Allocation team as a Fund Manager, contributing to portfolio performance, manager research, strategy development, and client communication within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the performance of a range of multi-asset strategies.
- Construct portfolios with a focus on quality, accuracy, and risk.
- Deliver strategic initiatives to expand the investment range and supporting infrastructure.
- Contribute to investment ideas and strategy decisions.
- Research internal and external managers across key asset classes.
- Evaluate risk attribution across portfolios with index and active alpha exposures.
- Communicate investment views and support the marketing of multi-asset strategies.
- Collaborate across the business to enhance the multi-asset proposition.
Requirements
- Experience managing multi-manager funds or strategies combining multiple active investment approaches.
- Strong manager research experience, ideally across various asset classes.
- Experience managing multi-asset funds and constructing portfolios.
- Understanding of underlying asset classes, derivatives, and portfolio risk.
- Experience communicating investment propositions to clients or consultants.
- Evidence of managing projects and delegating effectively while maintaining quality.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working across different investment disciplines.
- Experience with Python or Microsoft Copilot is beneficial.
