Responsibilities

  • Lead BoF’s coverage of the US luxury fashion market.
  • Deliver agenda-setting exclusives, insightful news analyses, and sophisticated analytical-style features for industry decision-makers.
  • Produce 1-2 news or news analysis pieces per week.
  • Produce 1 feature piece per week.
  • Lead BoF’s coverage of New York Fashion Week.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and deepen BoF’s industry relationships in the US.

Requirements

  • Solid professional experience as a senior reporter or editor.
  • Sophisticated grasp of the fashion business.
  • Acute news judgment.
  • Clear understanding of BoF’s target reader: intelligent, globally-minded executives, entrepreneurs, and creatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, perform under pressure, command authority, and manage multiple stories simultaneously with accountability and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a 24-hour news cycle.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to tell complex stories with flair.
  • Ability to cultivate high-level industry sources.
