About the Role
Our gerontopsychiatric nursing home, specializing in dementia care for over 55 years with 34 residents, offers a familiar and manageable atmosphere where staff and residents know each other personally. This role is not about managing a large institution but about maintaining close contact with residents and the team while taking on responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the entire nursing process and ensuring high nursing quality
- Compliance with and optimization of work processes considering professional, legal, and economic aspects
- Leadership and professional support of the nursing team
- Planning of training, further education, team meetings, and quality circles
- Responsibility for quality and hygiene standards
- Contact person for employees, relatives, caregivers, doctors, pharmacies, and other cooperation partners
- Maintaining contact with relatives and cooperation partners
- Active acquisition of potential residents
- Active participation in direct care – the position is explicitly not a pure office job
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialized nurse, geriatric nurse, general nurse, pediatric nurse, or registered nurse
- Completed further training as a responsible nursing specialist according to § 71 SGB XI with at least 460 hours or a successfully completed degree in nursing management
- German language skills
- Willingness to actively participate in direct care
- Two years of leadership experience
