About the Role
As a Financial Systems Specialist/Lead within the Digital Center of Excellence team, you will be responsible for creating corporate operations and systems that balance high productivity with strong governance. You will own the optimization and construction of financial accounting systems, including Anaplan, NetSuite, and Concur, for approximately 2,100 employees across the Mercari Group. This role involves end-to-end management from requirements definition to design, development, and operation, with opportunities to utilize tools like Workato and APIs for SaaS integration, ServiceNow for business process integration, and AI agents for advanced operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive business requirements definition and process design.
- Promote DX projects focused on financial and management accounting.
- Organize business requirements in collaboration with corporate planning and accounting departments.
- Design processes based on business and control requirements.
- Design and implement Corporate SaaS solutions (low-code development).
- Develop roadmaps for accounting systems such as Anaplan, NetSuite, and Concur.
- Manage partner development teams and overall development content.
- Promote in-house development of systems and handle change requests.
- Design and implement system integrations.
- Design integrations with HR systems, workflow systems, and other Corporate SaaS.
- Design and implement API, data, and event integrations.
- Integrate business operations based on master data (people, organizations, cost centers, etc.).
- Design governance, operations, and scaling strategies.
- Design and configure systems considering internal controls, audit, and security requirements.
- Design access controls, change management, and operational configurations.
Requirements
- Practical experience with business systems for financial accounting, management accounting, and application workflows.
- End-to-end practical experience with business systems.
- Experience in requirements definition, design, configuration, development, testing, and release.
- Experience collaborating with and driving projects involving business departments, IT, and vendors.
- Experience implementing SaaS platforms, particularly Anaplan, NetSuite, or Concur.
- Experience designing or implementing API integrations and system integrations.
- Experience utilizing AI agents or LLMs for business automation and tool development.
