About the Role
As a Digitalisation Delivery Engineer, you will transform physical buildings into structured, high-fidelity data models for our AI platform. You will also train and certify client and partner teams on platform operation, ensuring buildings can run autonomously and partners are equipped for ongoing management.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of building data models, including as-built drawing collection, BIM verification, spatial and MEP equipment registration, relationship mapping, QR code tagging, and client acceptance.
- Execute the full IoT delivery workflow, including point list encoding, binding table preparation, and gateway configuration and commissioning across BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA, and KNX.
- Bind IoT data points to building models, verify data accuracy and connectivity, and commission complete subsystems like energy metering, lighting, chiller/AHU controls, and environmental monitoring.
- Train and certify client and partner engineers on platform configuration, operation, and maintenance through virtual, in-person, and lab sessions.
- Own recertification for trained partner teams, conducting annual refreshers to maintain operational and data-quality standards.
- Meet global quality benchmarks for data precision, completeness, IoT connectivity, and accuracy through rigorous review processes.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, BIM Modellers, and Solution Architects on delivery planning, model accuracy, and platform configuration.
- Diagnose and resolve field issues, including BIM-to-reality discrepancies, IoT integration problems, and data-modelling edge cases, escalating complex issues as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years' hands-on experience in building MEP design, construction, building digitalisation, BIM delivery, Building Management Systems, IoT deployment, or smart building technology.
- Solid understanding of building MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, building automation/DDC).
- Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and identify equipment on site.
- Working proficiency with BIM tools (Revit) and CAD/IFC drawing interpretation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent data-quality standards across large data volumes.
- Understanding of IoT communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA).
- Practical experience with IoT deployment or device commissioning.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, multicultural project teams.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Right to work in the UK.
