About the Role
DNV is seeking a motivated and results-driven Training Sales & Business Development professional to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and sell training programs. You will drive revenue growth by connecting customers with learning solutions that meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth of public and private training sales across North America.
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and existing client relationships.
- Identify client training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and close sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with trainers, operations, marketing, and certification sales teams to maximize opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support business growth.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience selling professional services, training, consulting, certification, or related solutions.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills including presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% per year, primarily to trade shows and conferences including U.S.
- The employee would be required to draft and review internal documents in English to be used throughout North America.

- $90,000 - $105,000 CAD (Vancouver)
