About the Role
This internship offers a 3-month full-time opportunity for a self-motivated research analyst to join our growing team. You will work with team members on significant projects for pharma clients, quickly learning new therapy areas as you take on new work streams. As an integral member of the consulting team, you will develop and deliver executable project outcomes, proactively collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conducting primary and secondary research using appropriate sources
- Analyzing and interpreting research findings to generate insights aligned with the brief and client objectives
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop diverse perspectives and substantive insights
- Overseeing subcontractors and project work streams
- Creating accurate, insightful, impactful, and persuasive reports
- Maintaining project timetables, plans, and quality control practices to support deliverables
Requirements
- Masters in a life science subject from a leading university
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize analysis into processes and frameworks
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Foreign language skills are preferred
- Strong communication skills – good listener and observer with the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, verbally and in writing to any audience
- Dependable and able to work on own initiative with minimum direction
- Curious and critical thinker – passionate about learning new things and striving to do things better
- Ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality outputs under time-pressured deadlines
- Team player – able to work collaboratively and effectively across culturally diverse teams and build credible and strong professional relationships
