About the Role
Entry-level position as an Intern or Co-op in engineering/construction materials. Performs construction materials testing and inspection at construction sites and in materials laboratories in accordance with ASTM or other applicable procedures. Training and certification are provided prior to independent assignments.
Responsibilities
- Performs construction materials testing and inspection at construction sites and in materials laboratories.
- Performs testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, bituminous, and masonry construction materials.
- Conducts quality control/quality assurance sampling, monitoring, and/or inspection at construction sites.
- Conducts standardized tests in the laboratory to verify materials meet project specifications.
- Documents field and/or laboratory testing.
