About the Role
Join our clinic and strengthen our IT department as a System Administrator for IT Infrastructure, Applications & Network. This is a permanent, full-time/part-time position.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update the virtualization environment based on VMware vSphere with vSAN vxRail cluster in the 1st-2nd level area.
- Ensure system availability in IT infrastructure and medical business applications through diligent configuration and monitoring.
- Participate in the expansion and further development of the IT infrastructure by implementing and integrating new systems.
- Administer, support, and further develop the existing Microsoft Exchange environment and participate in the introduction, migration, and administration of Microsoft 365.
- Support users in the 2nd level with software problems and provide application support for centrally provided applications via Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
- Coordinate external service providers and partners within the scope of the position's activities.
- Administer the Telematics Infrastructure.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT, e.g., as an IT specialist, IT system electronics technician, or comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in administering Microsoft Server and Client environments, particularly in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Sound knowledge of network technology, especially TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, and VXLAN.
- Experience in administering Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online and Microsoft 365, ideally Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with monitoring solutions for servers, networks, services, and applications, as well as in analyzing and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and basic SQL application skills.
- Experience and knowledge in administering the Telematics Infrastructure (TI) are desirable.
- Basic understanding of the IT system landscape in healthcare is desirable.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style.
- Ability to independently analyze and resolve technical problems.
- Reliable and team-oriented personality with strong service orientation.
- Good communication skills and good German language proficiency in speaking and writing.
