About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead People (m/f/d) for our People Team, for a fixed term of 15 months. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the People & Office Management team and actively contribute to shaping and further developing our company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our People and Office Management team both technically and disciplinarily.
  • Manage and be responsible for the strategic direction and further development of all People areas (Recruiting, People Operations, Personnel Development, Office Management).
  • Develop the personnel strategy in exchange with management, create meaningful and clear personnel reports, and formulate data-based, future-oriented recommendations for action for management.
  • Actively support the further development of our team and organizational structures, support change management initiatives throughout the company, and ensure that changes are clearly communicated, properly implemented, and anchored in the team.
  • Take on operational tasks yourself alongside strategic leadership, such as in recruiting, maintaining our HRIS (Personio), administrative documents, or daily People business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for all employees and management, and find solutions quickly.
  • Coordinate and further develop our performance review and feedback processes as well as personnel development measures, e.g., our Growth Framework and the anchoring of our company values.
  • Communicate internal company news as well as People and Office Management topics in stand-ups and via Slack.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the HR field, with experience across the entire employee lifecycle (Recruiting, People Operations, Performance, Employee Relations).
  • Leadership experience and experience managing a team.
  • Decision-making and persuasive skills, as well as conflict and criticism resilience, maintaining calm and structure during times of change.
  • Strategic and hands-on approach: Develop personnel strategy with management and actively participate in daily business.
  • Ability to lead teams through change, build trust, and strengthen stability.
  • Sound knowledge of labor law, with continuous learning.
  • Excellent moderation and presentation skills.
  • Diplomatic communication style.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Values personal interaction and enjoys coming to the office.
  • Four days presence in the office are necessary for this role.
