About the Role
Tiger Analytics is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Scrum Master to join a fast-growing advanced analytics consulting firm. The role involves supporting Fortune 500 companies in generating business value from data, leveraging expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI. This is an opportunity to build the world's best global analytics consulting team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Scrum Master/Agile delivery manager with substantial experience.
- Support multiple teams or a complex, cross-functional product/value stream.
- Facilitate complex discussions, planning events, retrospectives, workshops, and decision-making sessions.
- Identify and address systemic impediments, organizational constraints, delivery risks, and cross-team dependencies.
- Distinguish between team-level issues, product-management issues, engineering issues, and broader organizational impediments.
- Manage product backlogs, product goals, sprint goals, prioritization, capacity, and value-based delivery.
- Use quantitative and qualitative delivery data to guide improvement without creating a punitive culture.
- Work with distributed, multicultural, and cross-functional teams.
- Influence stakeholders and leadership without direct reporting authority.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, rapidly changing, and complex environments.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies.
- Manage releases, changes, and projects.
Requirements
- Substantial experience as a Scrum Master/Agile delivery manager.
- Demonstrated success supporting multiple teams or a complex, cross-functional product or value stream.
- Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Lean, and Agile principles.
- Strong experience facilitating complex discussions, planning events, retrospectives, workshops, and decision-making sessions involving multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, facilitation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Experience identifying and addressing systemic impediments, organizational constraints, delivery risks, and cross-team dependencies.
- Ability to distinguish between team-level issues, product-management issues, engineering issues, and broader organizational impediments.
- Strong understanding of product backlog management, product goals, sprint goals, prioritization, capacity management, and value-based delivery.
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative delivery data to identify patterns and guide improvement without creating a target-driven or punitive culture.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery-management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Miro, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience working with distributed, multicultural, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and leadership without relying on direct reporting authority.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, rapidly changing, and complex environments.
- 8-12 years of experience in project management and application development.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of concepts with program management approaches, tools and methodologies - Agile environments and leading Scrum ceremonies.
- Experience in Release Management, Change Management, and Project Management.
- Experience working on Data Science, AI, or advanced analytics programs (preferred).
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as Azure or AWS, along with strong experience in program governance, reporting, and risk management.
