This role offers an opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives by working with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals. You will help Transport for NSW get smarter in how energy is used by developing and delivering projects that reduce electricity consumption, improve operational efficiency, and deliver better value.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver projects that reduce electricity consumption, improve operational efficiency, and deliver better value.
- Identify, develop, and deliver energy efficiency initiatives across Transport's diverse asset base.
- Assess opportunities, develop business cases, coordinate project delivery, and track outcomes.
- Collaborate with technical specialists, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to develop project scopes.
- Manage procurement activities and support project delivery.
- Analyze energy and operational data.
- Prepare reports and recommendations.
- Contribute to informed decision-making on energy investment opportunities.
Requirements
- Proactive and commercially minded energy professional.
- Ability to combine technical understanding with practical delivery outcomes.
- Enjoy solving problems, working with data, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Experience in energy efficiency, electrical infrastructure, engineering, renewable energy, or asset management is highly desirable.
