About the Role
As a Senior Commercial Project Manager for the Design & Engineering Service Line, you will be responsible for the commercial management of complex infrastructure projects within our global Mobility business area. You will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of transformative projects for our clients, ensuring efficiency, economic viability, and timely completion.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for commercial processes in large-scale projects
- Management and optimization of billing processes with clients, joint ventures, and partner companies
- Project controlling with a focus on costs, deadlines, and economic efficiency
- Ongoing execution of target-actual comparisons and other commercial analyses during project execution
- Preparation of internal project annual financial statements and reports
- Participation in forecast planning and strategic alignment of projects
- Contract and change order management, including negotiation and review of contract terms
- Advising and supporting the project team on commercial issues
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Business Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable degree programs, or a commercial apprenticeship with relevant further training
- Several years of experience in planning projects with a commercial focus, project controlling, or a comparable role
- Proven experience in managing complex projects
- Sound knowledge of contract law, ideally including HOAI and VOB
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Enjoy working at the intersection of finance and project management
- High level of comprehension and analytical-conceptual skills
- Independent and structured way of working, as well as strategic thinking
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and high commitment
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
