About the Role
Anaplan is seeking a Supply Chain, Strategy and Transformation Director to act as a trusted subject matter expert and strategic leader within the Integrated Business Applications organization. This role operates at the Go To Market intersection of Product Management, Enablement, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Partners, combining deep functional and process Supply Chain expertise with technical application architecture, consultative selling, and ecosystem enablement. You will support Anaplan’s GTM Teams on all engagements requiring domain expertise, from demand generation to implementation and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of scalable knowledge-sharing initiatives including sales programs, executive presentations, ROI insights, customer success stories, and enablement assets.
- Distill deep Supply Chain expertise into actionable sales tactics, ensuring presentations and demonstrations align with prospect and customer requirements.
- Support complex sales opportunities as a technical, process, and architectural expert, both onsite and remotely.
- Act as an ambassador and advocate for application customers post-sale, driving expansion.
- Support Platform, Application and AI Teams with application design, best practices, pre-market testing, and early adopter customers.
- Capture structured feedback and translate field insights to Product Management to shape application roadmap priorities.
- Support Anaplan, Analyst, and Industry engagements as a key thought leader, producing thought leadership content and contributing to market insights.
- Collaborate with the Competitive Intelligence Team to deliver competitive differentiation and sharpen battlecards.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency (business-level or higher) in both Japanese and English.
- Demonstrable understanding of Anaplan’s platform and its applications to solve complex business challenges.
- Deep Supply Chain knowledge of planning, performance management, reporting solutions, required processes, best practices, and key stakeholders.
- Understanding of product management, enablement, and GTM operations.
- Proven experience in consultative selling or strategic advisory roles, preferably within SaaS or enterprise software.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and knowledge-sharing skills, with exceptional ability in presenting, demonstrating products, leading workshops, and developing enablement programs.
- A results-driven mindset, able to collaborate across teams, with a focus on contributing deliverables of the highest possible quality and impact.
