About the Role
Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to lead Compliance technology requirements in the Asia Pacific region. This role serves as the primary liaison between Technology and Compliance, ensuring that Compliance needs are met through effective understanding and delivery of trading controls, surveillance, monitoring, regulatory reporting, and inquiries. The position offers opportunities to gain business knowledge and skills by collaborating with Compliance, traders, and technologists within a global, market-leading firm. You will understand individual market nuances in APAC to help technology teams build appropriate trading controls, surveillance, monitoring, and reporting tools for oversight of SIG's trading activities across various asset classes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other teams to assess, understand, implement, and provide guidance on requirements.
- Organize and facilitate project development and implementation, manage backlog deployment, and understand large-scale production environments.
- Prepare detailed requirements documents after collaborating with stakeholders.
- Effectively report project status to all staff and management levels regularly to increase project transparency.
- Take a holistic view of systems, understanding the integration of hardware, networking, and middleware layers with software components.
- Assist with testing when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Business Analysis role within an IT environment, including management of SDLC projects.
- Experience within a trading firm, investment bank, or other financial institution.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- Strong planning, estimation, and risk management skills.
- Data analysis experience with Python and/or SQL.
- Commitment to innovation with a strong interest in learning.
