About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly commission calculation and payout lifecycle for global sellers, streamlining processes to maintain near-zero error margins.
- Operationalize data reconciliations between CRM, Workday, and Xactly Incent to safeguard data integrity and ensure calculation accuracy.
- Map core commission workflows to eliminate friction and reduce monthly close processing times.
- Identify and deploy automation tools, custom scripts, and AI-driven efficiencies for commission validations, accruals, payment submissions, and reporting.
- Drive alignment with GTM Strategy, Sales Operations, Finance, and IT on process improvement priorities.
- Lead change management for new tools, processes, and operating models to ensure smooth adoption.
- Build and maintain scalable operational frameworks, seller performance dashboards, and executive reporting in BI tools.
- Monitor payout-to-revenue ratios, quota attainment distributions, error rates, and operational SLA performance.
- Maintain audit-ready control documentation and management review controls for commission processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audit engagements.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global commission operations team.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex rep inquiry resolutions and payment adjustments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in sales compensation operations, incentive compensation management (ICM), or revenue operations.
- Proven success running commission processing for mid-to-large enterprise sales organizations (700+ reps) under tight close deadlines.
- Deep hands-on experience with enterprise ICM platforms (e.g., Xactly), CRM platforms (Salesforce), SQL, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with GTM Strategy, Sales Operations, Accounting, FP&A, and Legal on exception workflows and financial compliance.

- $162,000—$222,000 USD (San Francisco Bay Area)
- $144,000—$198,000 USD (California excluding San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Washington)
