About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager will serve as a brand ambassador and business leader, dedicated to delivering elevated experiences for clients and the internal team. This role supports the Store Manager in building and developing a high-performing sales team, ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint and driving business success through coaching and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed store sales plan.
  • Assist Store Manager in staffing the store and developing a high-performing team.
  • Utilize business insights and tools to drive topline results.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in the local market to drive brand loyalty and business.
  • Understand and use all retail systems and reporting tools.
  • Maintain, support, and enforce company operations, standards, and practices.
  • Develop a culture of trust, integrity, and excellence.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate the sales team to meet performance goals.
  • Lead the sales team by example through sales efforts and customer service.
  • Model and enforce dress code compliance.
  • Ensure customer and employee experience are prioritized.
  • Demonstrate confidence when leading the team and managing the store.
  • Recruit high-level candidates and develop a store team to meet service and sales goals.
  • Cultivate an inviting atmosphere that makes every client feel welcomed, engaged, and valued.
  • Develop a client engagement mindset to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Leverage data, tools, and key metrics to drive business results and client loyalty.
  • Provide a personalized and positive in-store experience.
  • Play an active role on the salesfloor.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of sales management experience in luxury retail or related field.
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Strong understanding of luxury fashion, trends, and visual merchandising.
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events.
  • Bending/stooping/kneeling required.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
