Lead the synchronisation strategy across the ANZ and SEA regions, remaining hands-on in landing major commercial deals in the music advertisement space. This role combines high-level business planning with direct negotiation and closing of creative agreements in a collaborative, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and lead the synchronisation strategy across Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia to increase revenue.
  • Pitch the Warner Music catalogue to secure high-value synchronisation placements, with a strong focus on the advertisement space.
  • Head up, guide, and develop a dedicated team of two synchronisation professionals to achieve regional commercial targets.
  • Build and maintain powerful relationships with top-tier advertising agencies, creative partners, and music supervisors.
  • Manage high-level negotiations and oversee the clearance of licensing agreements for advertising, film, and television campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with regional commercial and brand partnerships teams to build integrated partnership opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends to identify new synchronisation opportunities and income streams.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in music synchronisation with a demonstrated history of landing key placements in the music advertising sector.
  • An established and highly influential network of contacts across creative advertising agencies, music supervisors, and media networks.
  • Passion for music and driving commercial opportunities that elevate our roster of artists.
  • Enjoyment of heading up and mentoring a team in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to secure high-value deals with key commercial partners.
  • Exceptional attention to detail regarding licensing terms and contract negotiations.
