About the Role

The Senior Manager, Global Marketing, Creative & Production, within the Global Indirect Procurement organization, will oversee all global category management and sourcing activities for the Creative & Production category. This role is crucial for developing and implementing global category strategies that align with regional and local market needs, ensuring Haleon's sustainability and diversity objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global category strategies for Creative & Production categories.
  • Manage a spend of over £20m for Global Marketing, Creative & Production.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Units (BUs) to ensure global strategies account for regional and local market requirements.
  • Build an education and communication process for regional and BU procurement leads.
  • Serve as the global expert for the spend categories.
  • Ensure global strategies reflect Haleon’s sustainability and diversity objectives.
  • Deliver benefits identified in strategies through effective and collaborative execution.
  • Manage financial benefits in accordance with the Procurement Plan and Savings Methodology.
  • Influence key global and regional stakeholders to support strategy development and execution.
  • Build strategic relationships with key global suppliers to drive value.
  • Manage the supply base for the categories through a robust performance management process.
  • Lead contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation, and maintenance with global suppliers.
  • Develop and implement Operational Excellence strategies for key global suppliers.
  • Transform the supply chain to release value and enhance responsiveness to business and customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of operational Procurement experience across multiple categories.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing categories, particularly category strategy development and implementation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management.
  • In-depth understanding of the external environment and supplier relationship models.
  • Strong knowledge of finance (cost benchmark, financial audit with key suppliers) and legal matters (contracting).
  • Clear understanding of business value, business priorities, and potential implementation risks.
  • Significant experience working in a matrix (global/regional) business environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in partnership with others to drive, implement, and support change.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects using project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, often under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with risk management.
  • Motivation for professional development and willingness to coach, mentor, and train others.

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Procurement tools such as sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, supplier review, supplier development.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Proven ability to build productive and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communications, and influencing skills.
