Responsibilities
- Undertake radiation therapy planning, treatment delivery, and associated clinical duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ensure the safe and accurate administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Complete all clinical administration and documentation requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold best practice patient care standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical competence across all areas of radiotherapy practice, including treatment, simulation and planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of radiotherapy and associated healthcare services.
- Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
- Current Australian Radiation Use Licence (state specific requirements apply).
