About the Role
AWS Cloudfront is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to lead critical initiatives in building reliable, scalable, and low-cost systems that deliver a flawless video serving experience from the edge. You will contribute to a fast-growing, agile team focused on innovation in the CDN market and solving complex problems at a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Design new systems from scratch or improve existing systems, owning the technical direction from start to finish.
- Serve as a technical advisor, mentoring and guiding team members to solve complex problems with simple solutions.
- Drive initiatives to improve availability and performance across the organization.
- Participate in both coding and code reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
