About the Role

Our site in Burnet is seeking an Engineering Technician I position in receiving to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems, as well as performing decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspecting products. This role is part of a team that ensures products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while meeting customer timelines. You will also work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment
Sample, fill, and inspect final products
Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis
Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards
Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal
Ensure on-time delivery of high volume products from make to ship
Propose and implement process improvements
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge of decon, valve building, harvesting, fill and morph solids
Good communication skills, training experience and troubleshooting skills
The ability to keep up with daily production demands
Accountability for good attendance and consistent daily performance
Discipline to follow work instructions and standard operating processes
Dedication to excellence by being proactive with tasks to keep processes going and a willingness to perform whatever task is needed
Creativity and innovation to improve productivity, cost savings, and safety
Commitment to operating safely and with the highest quality standards
Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs
Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks
