About the Role
This internship offers students real exposure to Dow Jones's operations, working on meaningful projects with teams and gaining hands-on skills. Interns are paired with mentors, connected with senior leaders, and included in professional development sessions. The program aims to provide a supportive, engaging, and fun environment where work is valued and growth is prioritized. This specific role involves joining the video and audio production team to help create content for MarketWatch, Barron's, and Mansion Global.
Responsibilities
- Edit down interviews and assist on shoots
- Research stories and coordinate production logistics
- Schedule interviews for video and audio stories
- Organize footage and handle administrative tasks
- Repackage video and audio content for social media platforms
- Assist the podcast team with research, fact-checking, finding contextual audio materials, and transcriptions
Requirements
- Completed at least two years towards your Bachelor's degree
- A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Knowledge of Canon or Sony cameras and ability to shoot video with a smartphone
- Exceptional writing skills
- Experience or interest in building social media strategy
- An interest in business, finance and money
- The ability to ask questions and apply new insights
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
- Graduating in Dec 2027 – July 2029 (U.S.)
- Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status
