About the Role
This internship offers students real exposure to how Dow Jones operates, working on meaningful projects alongside teams and gaining hands-on skills that impact the business. Responsibilities
- Report and write breaking news stories about business, finance, and the economy, covering sectors like technology, retail, real estate, banking, commodities, and personal finance.
- Contribute to making Barron's a go-to source for sharp analysis on daily news stories.
- Collaborate with seasoned reporters on research and reporting for feature stories.
Requirements
- Completed at least two years towards a Bachelor's degree.
- Possess journalism or writing experience with published stories in a university publication or during a previous internship.
- Ability to report and write clearly, concisely, and factually in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate an interest in business journalism.
- Ability to communicate effectively with editors regarding story progress and participate in the editing process.
