Be part of a landmark restaurant opening as Carver Road Hospitality launches a new Modern American Steakhouse in New York, New York. This highly anticipated concept will feature culinary leadership by Daniel Ontiveros, mixology by Francesco Lafranconi, and a premium, immersive design by Rockwell Group led by David Rockwell. We are now hiring Front of House and Back of House professionals to join a restaurant built on craft, hospitality, and excellence. Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all glassware, silverware, and dishware are completely clean, spotless, and free of watermarks or smudges.
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
- Sort soiled China, glasses, and silverware outside the break down area, polishing glasses/silverware and restocking server stations.
- Inspect items for cracks, chips, or remaining residue.
- Maintain general cleanliness and stock paper supply in guest restrooms during service.
- Emptying trash, receptacles, sweeping floors, restocking all supplies in the dining room and ensure that the dining areas and service stations are clean and organized.
- Protect establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and Company sanitation standards.
- Report all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
- Attend and participate in daily pre-service meetings.
- Update knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous polisher experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
