About the Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the amenity, including Security and Receiving departments, acting as a liaison between clients, KWPM services, and internal support staff. This role requires projecting a professional image, providing excellent customer service, and demonstrating strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update policies and procedures for Security and Receiving operations with Director of Operations approval.
  • Ensure residents receive optimum enjoyment of building aesthetics, privacy, services, and amenities.
  • Facilitate coordination of security, front desk, valet, maintenance, housekeeping, and office staff.
  • Lead by example to foster a positive image of owners, management, and building service providers.
  • Assist the Management Office with resident communications and relationships.
  • Maintain common areas in a professional and presentable condition.
  • Ensure all new employees complete on-site orientation and report completion to the Director of Operations.
  • Keep employees motivated and engaged through training and development.
  • Provide leadership support to team members.
  • Promptly communicate resident and guest concerns to the Management Office.
  • Direct inquiries regarding Association affairs to the Management Office.
  • Respect resident and guest privacy, perspective, priorities, time, and resources.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of day-to-day procedures and apply improvements.
  • Revise and/or formulate standards/policies to meet building needs.
  • Implement change within the team.
  • Make recommendations for capital improvements to the condominium building.
  • Assist where needed to ensure member expectations are exceeded due to fluctuating operational demands.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a related position with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer and associated programs, including MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task, set, and manage priorities.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to interact with a diverse and multi-culture population.
  • Must function in a team-organized environment.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions of rain, cold, heat, and humidity.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
  • Occasional requirement to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less.
  • Requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills.
