About the Role
We are seeking a professional and present security officer for a confidential luxury fashion boutique in Tribeca. This role involves greeting guests, managing crowd flow, and maintaining a calm authority during busy periods. Prior experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or concierge-style security is preferred, as are backgrounds in law enforcement, military, or corrections.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and visible presence, greeting guests while staying alert.
- Monitor store activity and guest movement with strong situational awareness.
- Manage guest flow during busy periods, weekends, and retail activations.
- Identify and de-escalate disruptive or suspicious behavior with calm, direct communication.
- Communicate clearly with store leadership regarding incidents or operational concerns.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clientele and store operations.
- Complete incident reports and documentation when required.
- Represent the boutique's standard of professionalism in every interaction.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Security Guard License required before your first day.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and remain alert throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent track record of punctuality.
- Availability for weekend scheduling and on-call assignments.
