About the Role
Responsible for à la carte food preparation, set-up and service, ensuring proper production of food items for restaurant events and buffet set-ups. Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, complying with health codes and Club policies.
Responsibilities
- Execute all menu items consistently and ensure team members do the same.
- Sign off on all shift closing document requirements, including production items, station shutdown tasks, deep cleaning, and special projects.
- Taste and approve all prepped items, ensuring correct storage.
- Ensure proper training of all team members.
- Execute ordering needs as required by leadership.
- Consistently follow and enforce safe/sanitary food handling practices.
- Ensure effective communication flows throughout the line during service.
- Maintain established ticket times.
- Run the expo station when required, coordinating with servers and food runners for timely food delivery.
- Ensure workstations and equipment are clean.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Executive and/or Sous Chef.
- Assist with menu item creation for specials and other requests.
- Assist in inventory.
- Assist with schedule writing.
Requirements

- Speak clearly and concisely to maintain proper, effective communication with staff and club members.
- Work quickly and accurately, both independently and as a part of a team.
- Exercise good judgment and perform detailed tasks.
- Understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
- Routinely requires sitting, standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, holding, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs/ladders.
- Ability to lift at least fifty pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a hot, humid, and sometimes loud environment for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
