About the Role
The Hotel Operations Manager supports the General Manager in leading day-to-day hotel operations while delivering excellent guest service, developing associates, maintaining brand standards, and driving financial performance. This full-time, salaried leadership role oversees key areas including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, train, and develop hotel associates
- Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve concerns promptly
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and payroll
- Support the GM with budgets, expenses, financial objectives, and cost controls
- Maintain company, brand, safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
- Inspect guestrooms, public areas, and hotel grounds
- Coordinate communication across departments
- Oversee inventory, ordering, equipment maintenance, and administrative processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of hotel industry experience
- 3+ years supervising at least 10 associates
- Hyatt, Hilton or Marriott experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, financial analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- On-site position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts.
- Periodic overnight travel may be required.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push/pull up to 60 lbs.
