About the Role
This interim Director role provides continuity during a maternity leave for enterprise-wide Learning Analytics. This is a hands-on role where you will own the analytics agenda and manage the data workstream of our LMS transformation.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise-wide analytics strategy for Learning & Development, co-develop KPIs with the Chief Learning Officer and leadership team, and ensure agreed methodologies continue to be applied consistently.
- Serve as the Data/Analytics Lead for the LMS transformation project including rebuilding dashboards with the People Analytics team to link to the new data product in Snowflake, performing quality control on new dashboard builds, and partnering with Business Partners to define what new dashboards need to be developed to support the 2030 strategy.
- Prioritize analytics requests and ensure they are serviced effectively through the People Analytics team; keep self-service reporting operational and accessible.
- Support the Global Analytics People Team with new dashboard developments/requests, including building mock-ups in Claude and developing a strong understanding of the various underlying data sources to be used in new dashboards.
- Sustain the learning analytics network across People Analytics and the relationships with global/regional/local L&D teams.
- Ensure a smooth handover at both the start and end of the engagement, including documentation of decisions made and priorities in flight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA/finance-related field, is a plus given the dual analytics/finance scope.
- 8+ years of relevant experience spanning Learning/People Analytics or management consulting, ideally with exposure to both.
- Demonstrated experience operating autonomously, with only broad direction, across large, complex, global organizations.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with a track record presenting insights and recommendations to senior executives.
- Experience with LMS/learning systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Coding experience (e.g., Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Alteryx, Think-Cell, or Snowflake is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and is comfortable ramping up quickly with minimal onboarding runway given the fixed-term nature of the assignment.
- Strong relationship builder; comfortable working collaboratively across a matrix organization and geographically dispersed, multicultural teams.
- Confident, sound judgment to engage, negotiate with, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Keeps a strategic perspective while executing tactical elements; stays organized amidst a high volume of complex projects and stakeholders.
- Learning and adapting quickly; open to feedback and comfortable stepping into an in-flight leadership seat.
