About the Role
Cboe Europe Limited is seeking a motivated individual with technical expertise and strong communication skills to join the Global Trading Hours (GTH) team in London. This role supports US markets during European trading hours, operating near 23x5 on real-time, low-latency systems. The position encourages the use of AI tools, with a focus on understanding and verifying AI-generated outputs.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for trading, market data, and technology issues during the GTH session.
- Manage inbound calls and emails, and proactively monitor trading, reporting, and market data systems.
- Support daily operations, trade support, and oversight of live production trading systems.
- Onboard new clients, manage platform access, provision services, and provide ongoing monitoring.
- Perform certification testing, logical port creation, and modification of default settings.
- Coordinate incident management, conduct post-incident reviews, and track follow-up actions.
- Document issue resolutions and communicate with market participants and vendors.
- Test system changes and platform functionality before deployment, including weekend testing.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- A desire to increase securities market expertise and proficiency with Cboe technology.
- Willingness to use AI tooling and the judgment to verify all outputs.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international team and under pressure.
